Prednisone helps, but only temporarily. The Rheumatologist refused to prescribe any more.
I was once many years ago on Prednisone. It worked well enough at the time but I also cant't get my rheumatologist to prescribe it for me any more. I suspect that drugs like many things in medicine go in and out of fashion. Wait lone enough and it may come back in to fashion.
