Linc - Thanks for responding. Hope you got some rest. I just found this press release regarding SAM-e (hope the attachment works...). Sounds like the withdrawl has nothing to do with research of safety or efficacy. I guess we shouldn't find it surprising that the regulatory powers-that-be are wanting a piece of the action. This supplement is so popular now in the west, I feel for good reason.

Hope we can still find it, not to mention affordably (ha!). Our present source is Nature Made brand sold by Costco at approximately .56 US per pill. Not a great price I know, but this manufacturer seems to produce the best (most effective) product. I believe they may sell it online.

I have found noticable effect only when taking at least 600 mg of SAM-e. Have MSM and Flax been helpful for you? As a nursing mother, I am limited to Tylenol for relief of a persistent flare, and very interested in alternative treatments.
