Maybe I don't fully understand the connection between Klebsiella and AS then. I knew that the test was only looking for an overgrowth of klebsiella, but I thought that I needed to have an overgrowth for my body to be attacking it. My understanding was that our immune systems are attacking an overgrowth of klebsiella (to get it under control) and then attacking our hla-b27 also, thinking it is more klebsiella.
Why would our immune systems be attacking it if there was normal amounts of it? what would have started that process then?
Hopefully you guys can help me understand a bit more. Sorry, i'm still quite new to all this and still trying to wrap my head around it all.
P.S. the ND, said the tests showed that I actually had a very good gut bacteria profile.
