I asked the Enbrel help-line this one time and the nurse there told me that it was probably because I had moved the needle slightly and broken the capillaries. I bled like a stuck pig and got a big lump where I had injected the first time. That's when I called. I don't inject in the thigh anymore because I've not enough fatty tissue there. I alternate sides on the abdomen and there's enough fat there to keep it from hurting much. smile
