Just an update on this: The doctor didn't think it had anything to do with the meds. She actually thought it was a cluster headache. Then I read about those and decided no way. Cluster headaches are considered to be the most painful experience a human being can endure. My definitely hurt, but it was not the worst headache I had ever felt and nowhere close to the worst pain I've ever experienced.
So, it remains a mystery for now. If it doesn't happen again, I'm not going to worry about it. Thanks for all the feedback.
