I would think the tahini would be most safe for you. Sesame seeds are loaded with calcium and other important nutrients. They always test no starch for me.

If you are unsure on sunflower seeds, I guess wait until you feel a reduction in pain. The nutritional yeast may vary on where you get it, some might have a small bit of rice flour added. I eat that stuff all the time though, no problems.

We've just got to figure out which foods you body is reacting the most too. For me if I were to have a bit of tomato, hot pepper, pinch of cayenne spice (used to be tolerated), organge (though I can eat grapefruit all the time), or dairy products, my day would and night would be absolutely runined. Just horrible inflammatory gut pains that are hellacious. There might be one food in your current limited diet that is causing a lot of your pain.

I personally find no problems dates or figs. They are a great source of energy for me. I also use sunflower seeds daily for things, often replacing other starchy nuts like cashews or dairy products with sunflower seeds. Last week made the most incredibe "sunflower Ceasar salad dressing" with garlic, capers, salt, pepper, sunflower seeds, water, a little oil, lemon juice.

Are you getting any guy pains in reaction to what you eat? Or are you more suffering from joint, back, muscle flare pains?

I'm now a KICK AS (and Kick IBD) success story!! After going low starch Paleo to heal my gut, I can now eat nearly all starches, grains & foods without inflammation, flare-ups, or pain. I used a modified SCD diet approach (minus dairy! plus cacao ♥). Cheers to healing & thriving again! I blog at http://www.forestandfauna.com/about/
