You may want to provide more info: Is the pain around your sternum? Upper or lower? Is it sensitive to pressure? Front of chest or back? Do you take any NSAIDs? etc...
It is around my sturnum (upper to middle)at the front of the chest and is sensitive to pressure.
However, the severe pain that last for about five seconds seems to totally restrict my entire upper chest.
