If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Sorry about that....you'd have to get a Medscape ID. (since I can't copy it here, here it is in a nutshell)
Short version....25yo male, back pain, treated with NSAIDS to the point that he has blood in stool. He had seen a chiro, too.
Went to ER, labs were a bit flaky. Rehydrated, told him to stop naproxen and start omeprazole. 2 days in hospital. Bleeding stopped, but abdominal pain continued. So the doctor writing this gets the consult after a colonoscopy is abnormal.
Goes through a standard rheumy workup. THEN tells us that father has AS. Duh! And also Crohns. Now you know the end and it wouldn't be as fun to read.
Medscape has lots of cool things...and it's free. You can check off all the topics you'd like to learn about and get those articles in your mailbox.
DX: Psoriatic Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Psoriasis Meds: MTX since Oct 2009, 15mg/week. Cimzia-restarted after 2 yrs away. Epidural Steroid Injections x8; Lumbar Radiofreq Ablation x2 SIJ Steroid Injection x3; Bilateral Radiofreq Ablation SIJ x9
