I WAS using a Caruso Molecular Steam curler set, which was working great for me, with minimal time holding anything up in the air, minimal fussage, and my hair despises curling unless it's wet and dries that way (the bane of hairdressers everywhere) but the other day my unit died, so today I'm curling it with a wet brush, hair spray, and three different curling irons, and y'know how you spend like a YEAR holding the damn curling iron up above your head, and it hurts your hands, arms and shoulders really REALLY bad? Plus hurts your legs from standing? Plus it's bad for my hair . . . but it's also the only way I can get any poof into it to hide my bald spots from all my meds and stress and stuff. And tonight's my niece's graduation party and that'd be SO great for an 18-yr-old to have her Cool Aunt show up showing scalp. lol (plus I'm meeting my new sis-in-law tonight . . . wanna look nice. =)
I most definitely need a new Caruso, but i thought I'd ask everyone what they use, and if there are any nifty tricks I could pick up. My hair's naturally on the wavy side of straight, and SUPER fine, and I LOVE the Caruso and can recommend it to everyone (steamed-up foam curlers you let set for 15 minutes and Voila! It curls even MY hair for at least two days!)
