Hey S22 & Tim- "A Christmas Story" one of the greatest films of all time!
But that flag pole scene you posted still scares me, even today. When I was just about the same age as the kids in the movie, that happened to me. I thought it would be funny to "fetch" a dropped ski pole by pretending to be a dog by crawling on all fours through the snow and picking the pole up in my mouth----
that was a BIG mistake!!!
the sub-zero pole instantly stuck to my tongue, (just like in the movie clip you posted) and the only way it came off was with part of my tongue on it!!
(this happened in Canada, by the way, so I blame it ALL on Mig!)!
