i can understand you not wanting to put anything on them until they are looked at. also if you are too successful at getting rid of them, they'll have nothing to look at, and since its only a week or so away.........
i can tell you when i had my leg rash, with the itchy itchy bumps, i was most concerned with getting them to stop itching as it was quite maddening.
and though the combo of steroid creme and antihistamine creme helped, ice packs actually worked better than both of those combined. if you think ice could be an ok thing to use, that might make them hurt / itch less, just an idea.
