I've been lucky in my local GP who has been immensely supportive throughout. I was less lucky with my rheumatologists. The first was very dismissive, made a quick diagnosis (which turned out to be wrong) and promptly put my on prednisone. The second was extraordinarily rude and then sent my GP a report that was full of errors (must have mixed me up with someone else). The third was much better and I was satisfied with his diagnosis. However, he ignored my very high levels of inflammation and tried to tell me that my pain levels were caused by coming off prednisone. At the time I believed him but later it became clear that wasn't the case.

At the moment, I'm just working with my GP who is knowledgeable and helpful.
