Kat, that is just AWESOME news! Good for you, and good for everyone else who will have the pleasure of working with you.

Just tonight my brother's new play opened up, and he--and the entire cast--received a nice review in a local paper. They are doing Carol Burnett's autobiography, the name of which escapes me even though I just read the review not more than a half-hour ago. I hadn't heard of the book before, but apparently Ms. Burnett had a very tough childhood thanks to alcoholic parents raising her in a poor neighborhood. The book--and thus the play--use a child actress and one portraying her in her college years to tell how she overcame all that adversity to have the dazzling career she did have.

Good luck with your production, sounds like it will be a lot of work!
