Great question Lisa.
Like Steve Christmas is starting early for us (since the applications are over, and I can finally get into the spirit of things).
Today we went to Carols by Candlelight in the Cavern at Treak Cliff Cavern in the Peak District complete with a visit from Santa and an accordianist. We have a party with Loz's friends tonight and a Carol Service with my friends tomorrow night.
Monday we drive down to Heathrow and pick my parents up very early Tuesday morning. On Tuesday I will be learning some traditional Ukrianian dishes from the matriarch herself.
Wednesday is a blitz of last minute shopping and we have the boys for the night on the 23rd. Intend on going ice skating in Nottingham with the parentals and the boys on Christmas Eve before dropping the boys at their Mum's late afternoon. Christmas Eve will probably be a mixture of last minute wrapping, food preparation and possibly a drink down at the local pub (quite a tradition here in the UK which I've not yet experienced).
Christmas Day we're hosting 10 people, in my first ever big Christmas meal. It's not nearly as big as the meals for 25-30 my Mom used to do when I was growing up, but it's a start.
Boxing Day is Christmas Day with the boys.
27th is a Leicester Tigers Rugby Match at the newly expanded grounds, followed promptly by a collapse.

Really looking forward to it, despite my chronic level of exhaustion. We've even had some

in England, so it really is beginning to feel a lot like Christmas

Christmasy hugs to all.
