freddie (formerfoodie) had very good results with acupuncture, you may have read his post about his experience here in the alternative section. i wrote my experiences too, don't pay too much attention to what i wrote, my back was too much of a mess to be able to really lay well. but it really did seem to have an effect, just maybe too intense of one for me (at the time). i think its certainly worth a try, as the way it works is so different.
