Hello to Luigi & all the other folks out there

I want to thank you for providing an update on your condition & circumstances, on this form as well as the personal note you dropped me on your return from what sounds an amazing trip. Congratulations on your continued feeling of well being & ability to reduce meds to minimum levels. Only wish I could contemplate something so exiting as a backpacking tour of SE Asia.
After reading your initial forum about the experiences you had in Jachymov, I became very interested in obtaining more info, so went to the web site for Radon palace, which isn't a great web site, but does have the basic info on cost, etc.
It also led me to do more research & discover other European spa's that also specialize in treating AS, amongst other conditions. The consensus seems to be that Jachymov is by far the best of them. Further research led me to the Free Enterprise mines outside of Boulder, Montana (which I see you also noted).
Now, because of my extreme condition(bad, won't bore you with details), desperation would be one adjective to describe my stae of mind, having said that I also possess the invaluable commodity known as optimism. This optimism has led me to try some unusual treatments which have helped alleviate symtoms at times, but not enough! As for the NSD, that one almost killed me(no exageration)about6 years ago.
With this in mind, the decision was made to take the trip over to Jachymov, except hold on a moment, with family considerations etc. this is going to be tricky to fit into the schedule for some time. Which brings me to the point, Boulder, Montana is about 8 hours drive from where I live(near Calgary, Alberta) & as such is much easier to get to, more economical, etc. So its off to Montana to visit the radon mines for a 10 days treatment soon & looking forward very much to some positive results. Will update you & everybody else out there in KICKAS land as to how things turn out. Even if it goes well at the mines, I am still very interested in the Radon palace & that treatment.
PS, also agreed to take part in a pilot reasearch project while at the mine.

Cheers,

Aragorn
