In remission: NSD + Immunotherapy
Hello, friends.
I’m happy announcying to you all that my AS is nowadays in remission. My knees and ankles aren’t swollen (I had almost forgotten original form of them), I walk almost normaly, not able to run yet but climbing the little hill near my home, able to bend and catch somnewhat from the floor, going down the stair better, my head turns more although two vertebrae of my neck are fussed... My family is very happy watching my improvement, and all the people who knows me says “what are you doing? You are in very good shape”. Also my psoriasis is much better.
Nowadays need only 25-50 mg Indocine, and I’m sure to let’it completely before summer.
I’ll tell you what I’m doing:
- No Starch Diet since summer 2001. I had improved on NSD but was lacking somewhat, always needing some Indocine... I know antibiotic alternative but being alone here, it was hard for me. NSD alone is not enough for me, but NSD is the key.
- Since September 2003 I'm folloing a new therapy with one french doctor specialised on cancerology, gerontology and immunotherapy. One basque-french Kicker (on NSD diet also) and two other AS sufferers advised me to go with this doctor. Here the treatment of this doctor:
* Some products of phitotherapy + homeopathy + oligotherapy: one anti-arthritic syrup, cupper and gold ampoules, homeopathyc bromelain, artichaut essence in pills, and sulfur capsules. (All productos well known in NSD and Alternetives Forums).
* Colon hidrotherapy (one every two months).
* Immunotherapy: intramuscular immunomodulator vaccine every 2-3 months. My doctor uses alopatic vaccine, but there is also other homeopathic vaccine (micro-immunotherapy). Before april I’l explain this therapy in Alternative Forum.
My improvement was steady since September. In December I was worse, maybe because some herbals (Desmodium Ascendens) for my liver: leaving them, I’ve been better. And since February my improvement is spectacular. And I’ll start to introduce some starch gradually, in little amounts: rice, lentills, beans...
AS is for life and one day our dragon will bite me again. And secuelae are here always. But I’m happy seeing that this dragon can be controlled, and secuelae perhaps can be ameliorated.
Yesterday, walking by the seashore, my wife told me: “Do you remember? One year ago- today- you almost died”. Yes. And one year latter, I don’t walk already like one robot.
Great hug for all you.
Pello
