It probably has to do with the condition of the gut and also how much starch you have floating in your system. I'm finding that I can do a couple of grams a day without any problems. Also may have to do with the kinda starch your ingesting. Some, like wheat are more potent then others. Bilko posted the worst starches awhile back, but I don't remember what all they were. Seems like wheat is the worse though. You might try eating more meals a day of good stuff. I went from 220 to 170 before I settled in. I had to start eating 3 times a day instead of two even though I wasn't hungry.
Tim posted about ice cream that didn't cause any problems for him. Dryers or Bryers, I can't remember which. It has like 15 carbs and 14 sugar or something like that, but the ingedients are all natural and good. I bought some and didn't have any problem either. I bought the chocolate and it was barely above the french vanilla. I don't know if you have problems with milk or sugar so it might be a trial and error for you.
