Yes, occasionally I too see some double standards. And in reality there exist members who harbour ill will towards others. Many may never care to learn the fine art of diplomacy. Intolerance will continue to lurk and sometimes pounce... not unlike the dreaded iritis!!!
Human nature is not without failing
, but nor is it without positive attributes and mega potential.
I've come to expect the full rollercoaster. Should we throw away the good? Expecting this doesn't mean we need accept it,... but make a greater effort to raise the bar.
The written word is prone to differing interpretations. The best we can hope for is to pause and consider one another's (possible?) reactions, and then
try our personal best to 'do unto others'.
