If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I'd like to open a question, only 2 experienced members of the group who have fine-tuned their diet already. People who are new, if you could please just refrain from answering, just so I get the correct answer. Does anybody use Kumbucha to support the gut? It's full of probiotics, but can be high in sugar content if it's not left to ferment for at least 10 days

To answer my own question - 1 cup of homemade kombucha fermented until REALLY sour gives me no pain. Tested this for 1 week

I love kombucha! I made my own for years, and continued to drink it after I started the diet. It seemed to me like a good no starch option; the carbohydrate is just sugar, which I don't find problematic for my joints. (I had issues with apple juice and orange juice, but those are starchy fruits). I never had issues from drinking it, and I prefer it on the sweeter side.
I know others on this forum avoid sugar and find it problematic but that has never been my experience. Nor does it make sense to me, since sugar breaks down readily in the small intestine and should not become food for our problematic bacteria.
I especially like flavoured kombucha. To do this I would pour it into bottles and then drop "safe" frozen fruits in like raspberries, cherries, strawberries and blueberries. Then let it ferment for a few more days. Raspberries are my hands down favourite for this. I also liked ginger kombucha but stopped the ginger because it's so starchy.
Suspected USpA. HLA B27, xray, u/sound, blood tests all -ve. Ancient history of plantar fasciitis, SI joint pain, knee arthritis. Recent history of tendinitis, neck pain, debilitating finger pain and stiffness (especially mornings). No diagnosis, no meds.
2010 - stopped eating dairy 2012 - stopped eating wheat 2014 - stopped eating all grains Jan 2017 - discovered NSD - 98% improvement in symptoms, continually amazed by my results, wish I'd found kickAS sooner

I'm noticing this about sugar versus fruit! I'm going to try some that is sweet and report back Yes - flavoured is lovely
