Started out on my run this morning thinking I was only going to run 2 miles. Then I decided I could go 2.5 miles. Finished the run after 3 miles. I was going to cut the run short because I needed to get to work early. Still made it in a little early, but not as early as I wanted.
Go Steve! Hey, Darrell says he'd like to take us & our spouses for a mule ride in fall. Want to try for a weekend in Moab?

Lots of yard work, hours.. walking to and from the Lake, up and down. Just beautiful weather here in the NW.
Go Tnate & Lon!
And you're exactly right Lon. We have more determination than most I think.

I've been running in the shallow end after my laps a bit to see if my spine/sacrum can take it and so far so good. My hubs is against me trying the ankle "weights" and belt, as I was injured last time I tried... but I'm going to see how the running works out.
As for me, I'm swimming 45 minutes every other day right now and playing with my littlest grandson in between.
Go TEAM!

I am continuing to run but suffering afterwards in my left SI joint. Very frustrating. I took about 2 weeks off of running and it was feeling a lot better but it started giving me problems the moment i started again. I am having issues walking on it and find myself limping often. I am wondering if quitting is going to be the only option.
Orch: do you get pain in your SI joints from running or are they not an issue for you? I was hoping to continue running for many years like you. I am not ready to stop at 31. I am at least glad i got a marathon and half marathon out of it.

I always feel better after a run. I think that is why I have continued running. Good job
I used to run. Quit in my 20's. Then hiked until my late 40's. Now I swim. Even doing shallow pool aerobics hurts my SI & tail bone from the impact. I really miss hiking the most.

Way to go Lon!
Tell me again where you are in WA? We lived in Sequim. If you're on the sound, strait, or Pacific, please say a little prayer for, and hello to, my daughter, mom & dad for me. <3

Today I attended a meeting, folded laundry, and ate lots of chocolate.
And I also have iced most of the day, took pred, oxy, an cyclobenzaprine.... all because this morning I forgot to pivot when walking away from my living room window after opening the curtains.
Seriously, why do I get all the dorky injuries? Why can't I fall while running in the dark or sit on a cactus? Uff.
Or one of these hilarious and interesting ways...
