FYI  I having another rhizotomy already. This time we are doing another radiofrequency ablation in the L1-2 area. We can't do any more in the S joints but going to try this. We also moved my rheumatologist appt. up to next week. My pain just cannot be ignored regardless of how much I try. I suppose I have been baking too many pies.  Just putting the fish in the oven and sautéing the asparagus for lunch had me in tears. Tomorrow is hubby's birthday and there is no way I can have everyone over so I sent a group text and invited them all to meet us for burgers. It is very frustrating to not be able to do the things you want to do.  As you all well know. I hope you are having a great day. Thanks for letting me vent. Blessings. Possi

Thanks Molly. That is why I invited them to be my guests at the local burger place. I am not even going to try to cook for them. They did volunteer but the ones that are not working are in grad school so their schedules are really busy.

Possi, Why can't you do a rhiz in the si joint area? Is there a limit and why? I did not know there was a limit.
I am sorry you feel bad... I hate when you get planned to do something fun and the pain comes in and ruins it all. As my family would tell me"offer it up with your prayers"(the pain) toward someone in need or yourself and ask God to use it for some good,I know you are a prayin lady.

Diet change has improved my RA. I feel best eating raw veggies and some fruits and avoiding grains, sugars, nightshades, beans and dairy. France? Hello again my dear. Weeellll - mixture. Vehicle free roads are amazing, city roads are, ahhhhhh - orrible ! Prices, cost of living - ohhh oohhh, ex-pens-ive. shakes head. Cost of housing, great.
Otherwise - big, big mix. Would I do it again? Probably not! Or, rent. Hang out for a while and then return. As it is, everything I own is all in France. But there ya go. My poor choice...
Biggest fear? That I will be left totally impoverished and 'stuck'. Pretty terrifying. Poor choice. There ya go.

I wish you well with your appointment. I have to do the same when it comes to having guests. We take them out for dinner, because I just can't do a prep day anymore. I hate that, but the one's who love me understand

Hi,
We can't do them in the SI joints anymore just because my back has gotten so bad that it affects my walking. He said that it is bad enough that the electricity/phenol would go down my legs and keep me from walking. The last was phenol and I couldn't walk at all the first 3 weeks.
I don't know what we would do without prayer. That is what keeps us going.
