Hi Lon: No hiking yet. A month ago, June 10, I had a revision of my left hip and the recovery is going well. I exercise, walk, rest and try not to overdo it. Two weeks ago I stopped using the painkillers and last week I stopped using the crutches. Everyday I get stronger and I hope to bike and hike before the end of July. I hope all is well in your world...Tom
PS: It would be great to see a photo of you on a Harley.

I don’t think growing up is necessarily that answer but maybe there is something that doesn’t leave your body open to more possible physical drama.

it sounds like you are on the road to recovery!
For a couple years now I have not gotten into the mountains to hike or camp.. I sure miss it.
