If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Tuesday: walk 2 miles (40 minutes) and 30 minutes neck stretching.
Wednesday: walk 4 miles (80 minutes)
Yay! Yesterday on the ferry back from Seattle I was SOOOOOOOOOO stiff and sore, so I thought "I'm gonna stretch like John!" - and it helped SO MUCH! I only stretched for about 5 minutes, but got the mobility back in my hip enough to walk off to the boat to my friend's car. Go TEAM!

Erica, I must confess, I did not get it all done. I shoveled again this morning. The wind keeps blowing it shut.
But out by the street, it is thick and heavy with the frozen slush they brought tot he sidewalk. I did walk 25 minutes at 3.3 mph and about a 5% grade.. Beloved, there is a real skinny guy under this veneer of fat.

Erica, I will be in the Seattle area next Summer visiting our married daughters. One North in Smokey Point area - 7 Lakes and the other In the Lacey area. They are both a fun place for walking and getting fresh air. But only seldom go to the beach. But I do want to take the Grandsons camping in a more rugged setting this summer....

Well, you're in luck! The N.O.P. is definitely more rugged camping! And for a real wild time I recommend camping out near Forks on the beach. Here's the Olympic sheet, and here are the local stores in Port Townsend and Port Angeles. If your grandkids have read those Twilight vampire books, they'll know all about Port Angeles and Forks. We're on the other side of the Olympics from Lacey, about 20 minutes from Port Angeles, so if you think you'll be over this way, give a holler!

It makes no difference if we get everything done! This is all about keeping moving!

Hi TEAM! Today I swam 1,000 yds in 45 minutes. There were two obnoxious (middle aged) people smack in the swimming lanes doing water exercise with belts and floaty barbells. They refused to move over into the water walking lane, even after the lifeguard asked them. So, the supervisor came out and threatened to kick them out of the facility if they didn't get out of the swimming lanes. After that they FINALLY moved over to the water walking lane, but THEN they had the audacity to verbally harass the swimmers as we swam past - so we splashed them every time we swam by. It was SO naughty, not at all sportsmanlike, but it was SO FREAKING FUN!!! What, are we 12? I know I should feel bad , but I don't! Go TEAM!

oh, Forks has crazy rain storms and HUGE surf in the summer. Sometimes the orca whales play in the surf like dolphins, though I have never seen them myself. Just heard stories and seen pictures.

people that act 12 only understand when people act 12 back in their general direction! or something like that! or i'll be extra super nice, that gets to people even more so. well, bottom line is, they should have moved, without even being asked.

Yessiree! I admit that splashing them was adolescent... but did I mention how FUN it was? We grinned all afternoon. Sorry that you're all getting to know my real rotten self. If you think I should have a time out, I can go over to the OTHER forum! My husband says that we were acting 12.5, which as any adolescent knows makes all the difference.
