Googling for info on the net about foods with anti-klebsiella properties, I came across Wild Oregano Oil. Eg. http://www.kombuchahealth.com.au/oil_of_oregano_article3.html

I don't have much confidence in the info provided being reliable as all I can find is commercial sources. Has anyone ever heard of this?

Hi Linella, I had to fix your link to make it work - it just had an extra "." in there.
I've tried wild oregano oil. Just a few drops will do it - in a glass of juice. Very strong stuff. Ended up not using after more than 8 weeks or so, just because it feel like it was too strong for my stomach to take, so I'm not sure if it worked all that well at killing kleb. But I do think it has properties to kill kleb if I remember correctly. Do a search of this forum and a bunch should pop up!
Let me know how it goes if you try it.
Megan

Hi, Linella. I have been using garlic and oregano oil in an empty capsule along with Young Living's Thieves blend (anti-everything). The capsule really helps so I don't mind taking it--it does taste very strong!

My Essential Oils Desk Reference says oregano oil is:
anti-aging, powerful anti-viral, antibacterial, antifungal, antiparasitic, anti-inflammatory, immune stimulant.
Uses: Arthritis/rheumatism, resp. infections, digestive problems

There are many published articles you can find at www.pubmed.gov .

I hope this helps. If I can assist in any way, PLMK.

Wishing you good health,
Ann
