If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I am presently in the midst of a severe flair up of the "AS", I think brought on by my failure to read the labels on some beef jerky . I have taken a few days off work to try and ease the stress levels and let some of the pain pass . With the combination of diet and prescription drugs The pain is generally fairly low .I am currently prescribed Humeria, clebrex and darvocet and use some left over tramadol . I have to use sleeping pills at night . I visit Dr. Lee every 3 months , He seems to specialize in "RA" and has a pretty good knowledge of "AS" Although I dont think he knew anything about the diet . I am wondering if there is a Dr. Locally In the inland Empire of California that Specializes in "AS" ? You will always think of these things when the pain level is elevated

Smokin,
I'm not real sure where you are in CA but I assume southern around LA or Riverside. I once had a chat buddy who mentioned the area from Riverside. Anyway I used to live in Salinas, CA where I got my diagnosis on my follow up visit after my medical history was sent, then blood work and the physical exam of over an hour.
While Salinas is quite a ride to go to see a doctor you may be able to call or write to his office and ask who he might refer in your area who specializes in AS, Rheumatology and Internal Medicine like he does. His name is Dr. Marc Lieberman, MD, 224 San Jose St, Salinas, CA. He has 35 years of experience and is Board Certified. He is an old school doctor and some do not like his straight shooting answers when telling a patient what is wrong. Personally these are the doctors I have always sought out as to me there is nothing worse than a doctor beating around the bush.
I have found over the years when dealing with specialist to look for doctors who are board certified in their field. Just finding someone who is board certified takes a lot of the riff raff out of the picture to start with.

Smokin,
BHA or BHT for a few can help cause a flare but there may also be some other food preservatives. When reading the label try to go for organic jerky.
