If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I don't know the answer, but I have been wondering the same thing about how long you can take Humira, Enbrel or Remicade and still have it work for you. It would be nice to know how long other people have been on it successfully.

Hi Smokin, After my 2nd injection of Humira, I had such a bad flare that I called my Rheumy and requested Prednisone. After the Prednisone took effect, I started feeling better and now I can tell that the Humira is actually starting to work. I feel like I have more energy but I still have pain. I'm scheduled for injection #3 on May 2nd...and I'm almost dreading the thought that I may flare again. I am now on 4 mg of Prednisone daily for a couple of months until the Humira truly kicks in. I hope you will get some relief soon! Teresa

Whenever I go to this forum, it seems I am a lucky one. Started Humira 6 months ago, felt my first improvement in MINUTES. Within 3 days pain in upper body was completely gone, never to return.
Previously, I was self medicating with the London diet and too much ibuprofen. The diet lifted me from 30% functioning to 60%. Humira has lifted me to 90%. I am also taking 100mg diclofenac for residual old fashioned arthritis in the hip.
I expect to be on Humira the rest of my life. You do slip back if you go off it, I forgot to refrigerate 2 doses and after 4 weeks, I felt almost as bad as before.
The best thing for me is not the relief from joint pain but I can tell my immune system is calmer. I feel more relaxed.
It sure is expensive but if I did not have insurance, I would still do all I could to find the money!
Good luck to all.
Mike
