I attended a seminar about A.S. some years ago. One of the lectures there a professor of rheumatology said that once a cure was found for one such autoimmune disease then a cure would soon follow for other such diseases. He included A.S. cancer and even Aids in his list of possible cures. When asked how long till then he said at least ten years. That was over ten years ago and we are still waiting.

MS - Possible a another diagnostic bedfellow for AS ? ...Yet another comorbidity...?
Can't invent it - but looks to be on the cards. Has been found in the family - paternal side : found in three sections of.
Awaiting to see the neurologist for definitive Dx, but everything points to.
Not a particularly happy bunny, particularly in reference to the irreversible visual developments.
A supportive friend points out that MS is a fairly well known friend of AS...Ho-Hum.
Am *not on biologics and never have been. Had to chuck the NSAIDs after they ruined my gut. Reasonable diet with an eye to curtailing the starches.
Anyone else here with AS + Dx of comorbidity of MS ? ?
Would be grateful for input - and info on management of etc etc.
Thanks -

Thanks John - Article of interest - Have printed it off -
But do wonder if anyone else here has thrown a diagnosis of MS together with all the other stuff, and, if so, how are they getting on ??
Keeping on, Keeping - Cheers
