If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi, I don't know about any place else but around here the big Hotels like Holiday Inn have indoor heated swimming pools, and they sale memberships for the local people to enjoy their indoor pools all year round. I have a membership so I can get some good water excercises done which help a great deal with the pain and stiffness. The heated water helps alot. I guess one of these days I will by a heated hot tub. They say they are great for those mornings when you are real stiff. But I have yet to be able to test that one. But the heated swimming pools do wonders. Phill Somedays it just doesn't pay to get out of bed.

Hi Phil, We have a Holiday Inn in our town but it is 20 mins or so away from me. That is really good to know though. We are thinking about getting a hot tub/spa/jacuzzi sometime soon. I wish there was a way that the government or insurance would help cover the costs. Take care and hugggggggs, Lisa HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!

Hi! I got a hot tub about three and a half years ago, and love it!! Rain or shine I use it as needed. My Doc would have written it up in such a way that I could have written a part of it off on my income tax, only problem is I don't have any income. Check it out with your doc if you're serious about putting one in!! Hope it workes for you! Sorry to hear about your cane episode. It's hard to accept the progression of this disease, and deal with the physical loses it takes. Grieve the loss, and keep focusing on what you can do. You are such an encouragement around here Lisa. God Bless, Laura

Laura is right. If you can talk your doc into writing you a prescription you can take part of it as a medical expense. I also take a portion of the seasonal upkeep (maintenance, chemicals, ect) for my pool and my hot tub off from my taxes. After all I use them both as part of an ongoing PT. Its like any other little loophole, you have to look hard, and jump quick. Keep Kickin'AS Chris

Be careful if you have hypertension. I was told to avoid hot tubs because they can either raise your bp or lower it dramatically, depending on the Med you are taking for it. I know, I'm a kill joy.
