Very good. Your blogs cover a lot of things that are part of the world i live in. Active shooter drills are one. They are intense and overwhelming in many ways, yet the demand that we do them is unrelenting. I remember the fear of dying from a nuclear bomb as a child when we had to practice bomb drills in elementary school as a child. I really think after having seen the faces of the kids during these that training the staff and faculty would be a better route. Train the kids on exiting the school and lockdown procedures when you don't have officers tearing through the schools. I have been at this for thirty three years and know there are many opinions that is just mine. ETTE Darrel
