Well here we are a month post op.. ot much has changed.. I guess that is the problem.. I have had my third cast change. This time they had me sit in a chair and slowly let gravity bring my heel down in efforts to get my foot to a 90% angle.. This took a long time.. and I did not get quite there. However I did do very well.. Just about there.. With that the MD afforded me 4 weeks before I see him again.. If I could not get the heel down enough I would have been casted there and would have had to go back in two weeks and try to get lower.. It will take awhile to get there as that tendon needs to be streched carefully back to working order. I can see where PT is going to be a long, hard painful process. Still no weight bearing.. That is getting really old.. I can't wait to walk on my own two feet!!
