CFL Eastern Final! YAHOO! - 11/19/01 02:26 AM
Howdy all!
Spent this afternoon with about half of the Med I's in the end zone (cheap seats
, watching the Winnipeg Blue Bombers win the Eastern Semi-Final on their way to the GREY CUP!!!!! So very exciting to be there, wish I could go to the final, but somehow organizing the trip to Montreal for next weekend is just not going to happen. By the way --- does anyone else find it terribly funny that Winnipeg (the 'Eastern', but really in their hearts a western team) is playing Calgary in Montreal next weekend ... west meets west in the east
.
I was complaining all game that we didnt see a touchdown in the end zone we were sitting in. Wouldnt you know it .. final minute of the game, the Bombers intercept a pass and run about 40 yards into OUR end zone for the last touchdown of the game! YAAAAAAAYYYYYY! But I really think the game was won by the defense. In fact, if I had to predict the 'TSN turning point' of the game, I would suggest it would have been when the Bombers held the Ti-Cats at the one yard line for 3 downs in a row (*NB* 3 downs .. not 4 like that sissy American football!!!
)
Anyhow, just wanted to share. Told ya a girl could post in this 'boy's forum'
