Today will be a hard day for you as you attend Rick's memorial service. He will not only be revered by the Bar Association with an honor guard but also his family and friends and your second family of 500 plus here at KickAS. Please know that we are with you in thought and spirit today as you go through this difficult time. And we will be with you in the hours, days, weeks and months to come.

I wish so much that I could have been there to let you know how important your loss is to my little family. I hope to be your friend for years to come in whatever way this site and our meetings allow.

I wish I had comfort to offer in this lousy time. I hope you believe as I do that Rick is still out there and with you in some new way.

I am glad to be a small part of the 500 strong here who have you and RIck in there thoughts today. Here in NY it felt like Spring came today. A new season with the same loved ones.

Hi Cheryl-
I just logged on, you've been through a tough day, and my thoughts are with you....I wish I could offer more than words right now, I just hope that after this long and exhausting day you finally got to sleep. When my mom lost her husband she barely slept until after the service, and then she finally went for a good 15 hours....a peace came over her I think....I think her husband's spirit may have been involved, and I'm not a religious man suggesting that, but I think it happened....

I am sure that Rick is still very much with you. A friend of the family lost her ex-husband and still feels him around her even though it has been a few years since his passing. I hope that you will find the comfort in it the way that she does.

Cheryl, I am sure it must have been hard to get through, but am thankful you had your family around you to support you. And this family here loves you and supports you across the miles in spirit. (((((((((((((Hugs))))))))))))) to you dear lady.
