Howdy Megan!! I'm glad you're back!! How did your trip go? I have been wanting to go there for quite some time...don't know if I'll ever get to. We'll see. My trip was really nice, it was great to see my family! We went searching for property and there is still some nice property that is affordable...that was exciting! I got to see fireflys I caught a tiny frog and the rain, thunder and lightening were exceptionally shortlived but transfixing! loved it! We were not really active on our trip, mostly hung out with family but it was a really nice place to be vacationing! It was very much needed.

Now, about that frio wallet. I got the polarbear icechest...it actually worked pretty well. I don't believe anything got spoiled. It was supposed to keep meds cold for 24 hours between the desired celcius(we don't do celsius here...I don't even know how to spell it ) My trials went to 18 before it got too warm. But the medicine is good for a while even at room temp I believe. So it was still quite cold by the time we got to grandma's and I popped it in the fridge first thing. I also opted not to keep opening the cooler and checking. I figured there wasn't anything I could do anyway, if it got too warm or too cold.

Yours is sounding better all the time...simpler and maybe less to carry? Mine was a small soft cooler, just big enough for a 6 pack. Special insulation and a special system that had to be done just right or it would work as a just a "noraml" cooler. It was alright, I think it got the job done. Amy

Hiya Amy,
Good to hear your trip was a good one. Sounds like it was a relaxing vacation.
France was really spectacular, but Paris really blew me away. The first few days were sailing on the west coast, so I was able to stay off my feet, which was great. It was a go-go-go type of two weeks for me, and I'm back to work tomorrow already!
The Frio worked pretty well, I think. It stayed below 15 degrees C (59 F) the whole trip over, which was about 16 hours. Actually, it probably stayed cool for days. After the wallet dries out after about a week, it's nearly weightless and really shrinks. Didn't have any problems trying to fly internationally with it - no one questioned me in the least or asked to see a doc's letter.
Anyway, it definately wasn't as cold as yours, so there's a definate trade-off using this thing. The enbrel people assured me it was cold enough, but who knows?
Anyway - I'm off to bed. Try to get myself adjusted to this time zone!

I would've loved to have talked your Enbrel people! The ones I talked to said they'd never heard of it, couldn't make any claims or guarrantees, couldn't factualize if the Enbrel would be "cool enough"...just very non-informational. They really were not "able" to tell me anything about how Enbrel could be kept except to read off the package or literature and had no clue about the wallet. That was alittle frustrating. But the wallet does sound like light traveling...that would be pretty nice! Ames
