I'm with maggie on calling the boat KickAS. If it's 20 years old it must be KickingAS.

Names to avoid:

Titanic
Lusitania
S.S. Minnow

Would also avoid things such as the Angelic Steph. Nices sound but makes you think AS.

How bout raising some money for the work that all boats need by naming it after a sponsor. Call it the ENBREL or the REMICADE. Charge the sponsor an annual fee.

Good luck with her whatever you name her.

We had a boat when the kids were growing up called Therapy, and it was for all of us, an old wooden cabin cruiser that we spent many hours keeping in "ship shape." Slept 6, was wide beamed enough to take the rolls in Long Island Sound, not trailable so kept it slipped in Conn. about 12 miles from the sound. It truly was a hole in the water where you poured money but had many summers of fun living on the boat in the summer time - - and keeping our adolescent children out of mischief! After Therapy we had a 16 footer, more convenient, less expensive, could be kept in the garage, and never got around to naming it

Yoly,
Sheeneeda.....hehehe. That's a clever one too!
Y'all are making me very nervous with all these implications of monies going to have to be spent on the boat. Yikes!

Steph

Hi murray,

The boat still seems to have a lot of life left in her...and the paint, although it is maroon and beige, (boring), is in fine shape.

How much for a new paint job, anyone have any idea?? I like bright yellow.

Cheers,
Steph
