Good to see you checking in Karen,

Hope your daughter is doing well, that is last thing we want to have happen.

Hope you can enjoy some more trips in future... been to Grand Canyon 3 times myself when I lived in Arizona.

Best to you.

Tim

I used to be the top poster, here. Then life happened and then some and someone toxic managed to become a member here and started using what I said here against me IRL. Not that I ever said anything wrong here, but there were severe issues and she used everything she could to cause pain. So, I dropped out of sight back in 2011/12.

But KA is my home page on my laptop to this day. Facebook groups absolutely have something to do with this. A bunch of us from (ACK!!) 20 years ago or so talk IRL.

KA and KAers saved my life, quite literally, back in the day. Thought I'd start posting a bit and checking in.

Warm hugs,

Kat

Fun thread. This is my first visit to this forum in MANY years. But I still recognize and remember almost all the users in this thread that used to be active when I was active here 15 years ago.
I'm still doing well, still on Infliximab (first Remicade since 2003, now Inflectra).

Hello again smile

Hope everyone is doing ok during this pandemic.

My GP is always curious about his patients mental well-being...I told him, "As someone with chronic illness, I have a lot of practice staying home (when I flare), sitting in a recliner on ice for a week or more at a time. Plus I have a good home environment and nice yard. So, I got this." In some ways, with everyone else having to stay at home, it kind of levels the playing field for me. I was even able to go to a (virtual) conference that I normally can't attend because I can't travel to the locations they have it at, but virtually, now I can participate smile

Hi Tim -
Yes. All is well here in France. One staggers on. Masks mandatory in enclosed-public places. So, one wears a mask...
A few more cases, though Brittany has been fairly clear so far - in fact they were ferrying serious cases of Covid from Paris *to Brittany just several weeks back. Hospitals not in the least overcrowded, people staying away - just got to hope that come autumn, the usual flu won't be too serious ! Heigh-Ho.
Good weather. Garden full of flowers - the potagere full of weeds and current bushes that won't ! Strange weather patterns and strange gardening - but the roses are good, thorny ones that they are.
Good hearing from everyone - KA 'always' my 'go-to-family'.
Take care y'all -
MollyC1i - keeps on-a-going (innit) :))
