Hi ASkickers....
Although I don't log on as much I do check in, and I just wanted to say thank you. the virus is spreading through NYC where I live, I've been on KA since the late 90's I think when The Hobbit had about 200 registered users....I left for awhile and came back, and it has been a family for decades....now I worry that we will lose family members from around the world, because KA is world wide...and I worry about myself here in NYC. I don't post every day or every month here, but I used to, this place saved my sanity!! I just want to say, I will try to post in the next month or two, my updates....but if I fail, if I fall to this virus, just know that KA and all of you have been an integral part of my life and helped me cope and heal with AS....your kind words and information have helped me in many ways. We have lost KAers recently, and will in the future from AS, I hope not from this current pandemic. I love you all, stay safe, stay healthy, and i hope to keep giving you positive posts from NYC!!!!!
Peace
Linc

I still remember meeting you and the others in London that time - must be ages ago.
London is pretty scary too, they are opening a 4000 bed temporary hospital today.
Wishing you all the best.

Hello Linc and Bilko - good to see Kickers checking in.

This is "scary" in most of the world presently. Hoping all Kickers are staying safe and will get through this pandemic.

This place helped save me as well.

Keep on kicking!

Tim

Hoping everyone comes through this ok. We are trying to keep the lid on it here in southeast Utah. Lots of folks wanting to come here and ride it out. I worry about my contact with these groups affecting my family. The idea of staying away from people for two to four weeks is hard for some to abide by.
Some people here are scared to death of it, some feel invincible. I believe we will get through it if we hang tough and take it head-on.
God Bless all of you.

Hi AS kickers- hope everyone is staying safe- I have not been on this support group for a long time. Came on here more when I first got diagnosed and went through numerous biologics and never did well on biologics. Now, I am on on plasma and doing better. I am from Wisconsin. I see half the people taking it seriously and following all the precautions and the other half thinking it won’t affect them. I am staying in the house and just walking my dog for exercise. My husband is doing the grocery shopping. It’s nice to come back and recognize some of the same names. I also want to thank everyone for providing me support when I needed it the most.

Linc- glad you are ok -keep checking in so we know you are ok

Hello Winter,

I must have talked to you about Wisconsin before.. but I cannot recall. I am originally from Appleton, Wisconsin.

Calling and talking to my mother often back there during this pandemic. For now she is doing very well and only goes to grocery store for now.

Best,

Tim

Hey Linc

Stay safe. I check in now and then. It’s brutal here. My wife, the lovely Diane, is on front lines working in hospital filled with Covid patients

She is being tested tonight to see if she has it.
Healthcare workers are in great jeopardy every day.

She is alone in a hotel isolated waiting for results. It is the worst feeling not being able to do anything to help.

So you keep safe.

Give us an update when you can. I will do the same. This place redirected me one time too a long time ago. Way before our girls were born. They head off to college next year

Hi Tim-

How have you been? How is the corona where you live? Glad your Mom is staying in except for going to grocery store. A lot of grocery stores are offering curbside pick up now if she knows how to go on the computer to order her groceries. Otherwise, they do have senior hours now for older people at the grocery stores. We had voting here this week, which did not get cancelled. I couldn’t believe they didn’t cancel our voting.

Shari
