If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I have to get over to a laughter yoga class in an hour, so I think I'll take my bike and try to loosen my legs up. Wish me luck! Gooooooo team!

Hope it was a good giggling session Erica Perhaps a couple of short walks instead , flat surface, no hills or stones. A pleasant walk to keep circulation on the go - take care

I'm dealing with a depression -
As you have found depresion is a recognised symptom of A.S. I have been lucky in that I have never suffered from it, most of the other A.S. symptoms yes but not depresion thank goodness. You seem to be trying different ways of dealing with this problem and I am sure you will find a way through the bad times. We all with you the best with it.

I find that, when I have a depression come on, if I double up my self-care it goes away in fairly short time. By two weeks of hot baths, exercising a bit more, getting xtra rest, I feel way better. I would say that I managed to slay the worst parts of this one in about 3.5 weeks.

I find that, even when I'm working my way through a low spot, the laughter really helps. It's a surprisingly sweaty work out. We usually laugh for 30 minutes. This week I've been working on walking 10,000 steps to make my fitness watch happy. I can't do it all at once though. I walk a few blocks two or three times per day, changing shoes, soaking my feet, etc. Go TEAM!!!

Bordeaux - WOW. Fab area. Can get very hot down there, then have freezing spells in winter, very dry area. Is about a 7 hour train journey from me, so, takes a day to get there. Change of trains. Beautiful countryside, great shops...good food. Good place to live, though expensive - many Brits !! I live in Brittany, North/West, not far from Rennes, Bordeaux is down South. At the moment or schools are on strike, a series of one day strikes. Haven't caught up with the latest news yet, will find out more tomorrow, when I can get to a news stand/or on line. I'm supposed to be walking an hour a day. Have sprung a leak in me feet, plantafaciitis, and what looks like tarsal tunnel syndrome, together with a large medial osteophyte. Sigh. Rather put paid to walking. Got inner soles, custom made - neat. Should help, but will not be able to do that much walking. Will give em a test out / trial in the evening, when I take a friend's dog for its walk. Stuff that happens...<LOL> Heigh gal, Keeping on, innit Take care -

Hi Team! I haven't been swimming as much because I've been spending more time walking and riding my bike. But now my arms are weaker from not swimming. Yesterday I cleaned house most of the day - getting ready for family over the holiday. Sheesh, my arms are sore. In a good way. Who knew that housecleaning was such a good work out? Gooooooo TEAM!

Nice to see you've managed to keep this topic going Sorry haven't been here since the spring, just busy living my life Liver enzymes, especially ALT had risen (3x normal) due to fatty liver (NAFLD) due to diabetes and weight. Was able to get the liver enzymes back down near normal over the summer due to dropping 10 lbs and dropping blood glucose (~10 points lower FBG; will see A1c in janauary, but should be better). Part of that was diet. Part of it was increasing my walking. Since June, was walking about 3 miles a day in the summer, now its usually closer to averaging 2 miles a day, but still walking.... good to see you all here

Hello! Well, it's official - I'm in the midst of a flare for the first time in nearly 3 years. Grrrrr.... I missed my laughter yoga group yesterday because I couldn't walk the 6 blocks to the locatio. Next week I'll call someone to get a ride. Has anyone here tried ketamine infusions? I'm giving it some serious thought. Also going to try and get into the tub at some point this morning. Hopefully I'll be able to get back out. Today my goal is to walk around the block. Wish me luck! Gooooooo TEAM!
