If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Namaste ASKickers,
This is a post after many moons as I was making sure that before I write about this, I need to ensure that my protocol works. Since about an year now I am following the below protocol -
1. Till 12 noon , I eat about 1kg of fruits and I eat every and any fruit I can get hold off. No other stuffs as break fast. 2. No tea, no coffee , no milk or any dairy products.
3. At lunch time I juice about 500gms raw veggie and drink and then eat my solid lunch but here I eat mostly vegetarian food cooked in typical indian style. I eat non-veg only once a week.
4. Dinner within 8pm , again veggie juice and vegetarian food.
No alcohol, no tobacco .
I am following the above since last one year and my mobility increased , all medicine stopped, my blood report is perfect , inflammation stopped , my brain is in superb condition and I am always full of energy. Best is, in last one year or so I hvnt used any medicine not even a single OTC antacid.
I hv seen the improvement within 4 days of starting this and from then it only kept improving. I also feel that some of my fusion is reversing, but I will post about the reversal after confirmation and may be in next 6months to 1yr time.
Good luck!
Arindam

I like that breakfast! I shall try it. I feel that mine has too much meat and veggies fried in oil

Hi Arindam Gosh, good job! I don't know how I could get off skim milk, as my body craves it big time, due to my spines constant need for calcium( I thought).I wish that I have the fortitude to enter such a radical, fruit diet. B

Dear Brian Get off the milk and milk product ASAP. You can get calcium from spinach juice and vit D from Sunlight

Dear Brian:
I agree with Arindam, no milk. It isn't your bones telling you you crave it. It is you microbiota telling you.
Also, cultures that have the highest consumption of milk also have the highest rates of hip fractures and such. Milk is not good for the bones, vegetables like spinach are.
Arindam, do you eat any rice? I started eating Thai gluenous rice and it seems very well tolerated.
Cheers! Robin

Arindam:
Also, how do you cook vegetables: steamed, fried, boiled, raw?
It seems that the more damaged a vegetable is by heat the less well I feel after eating. If I eat raw vegetables I feel more cool and refreshed.
Do you eat a lot of cultured foods?

Dear Robin
I eat 500Gms of raw veggies (Juiced) in the afternoon and 500Gms (juiced) during dinner. I also eat cooked vegetables as my solid diet is mostly vegetarian. I do take some pickles some time as well as ACV in my raw salad as dressing. BTW - I also try to soak up some sun when ever I can.
Raw broccoli juice will have more calcium content than milk. Drink broccoli juice.

Arindam:
Thank you for the inspiration and a view on how to simplify and not worry about diet details (specific ingredients). But I do have some questions.
1) What methods do you use to cook food: fried in oil (and what oils), steamed, boiled, broiled,...? I feel that cooking vegetables in oil at high temperatures creates lipopolysaccharides that people with AS especially react to!
2) Do you eat grains?: basmati rice, glutenous rice, jasmine rice, wheat, spelt, rye, oats, etc, millet,...
3) how about beans/legume/lentils?
Is there anything you find that you need to minimize?
May the Force be with you, always! Robin
