If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

My new naturopathic doctor suggested fecal transplant is a new treatment working for autoimmune conditions. He said a doctor in Portland was having success with these treatments but FDA stopped it recently. Now they are illegal to be performed on patients unless they have C-Diff. (FDA was afraid of losing money on drugs for autoimmune conditions.) They are still being performed with great success in Australia, he says. Has anyone tried this?

During the treatment I was and still taking humira so couldn't really tell how much difference it had for AS. but was able to see improvement in my bowels. But it required no fiber diet before the procedure and high fiber and some whole food starch diet right after and it had to be maintained which was a bit harder for me to do being so sensitive to carbs. Averall, I think FMT is very promising and should be done several times as a maintenance to keep the good guys in your gut happy so they really make your gut their home.
I know now they are working on a dried Poo capsule that you would swallow as a supplement instead of enema / colonoscopy.

Hello Ghost: Do you have an update on how your transplant took root? For those that want to consider the Open Biome Organization can help your doctor(s) get a source of screened feces. I hope this helps.

A Youtube video with a speaker from the Openbiome Project Stool Bank for Fecal Transplants https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PEAdtGa549IAs I look more at the past fifty years of history regarding infectious disease, antibiotics and the more recent research I am getting increasingly convinced that the only obvious time that antibiotics should be used is when a life or limb is under immediate threat, otherwise the immune system can be modulated through the gut and listening to country music if you have a heavy metal problem! Just my 2 mao
