Hi Everyone!

I'm so sorry I've been such a slacker at checking in here!

I'm still swimming e/o day, playing with the grandkids, walking around town and generally keeping my house and garden in order.

So... I don't know if I ever said, but I've been slacking because I've been studying like a fiend.

A year ago I decided to pursue my doctorate and now I'm a year into it. Just got my TEFL/TESOL cert so I can teach ESL online - super fun!

Still mystery shopping...

Life is great in remission and I AM NOT TAKING IT FOR GRANTED.

Love and respect to all, Erica <3

... For my fingers...

My garden is huge this year. I guess that is what happens when you plant and forget.

Swimming every other day.. waiting for the heat to go away. Come on fall coolness!

Goooooo team! clap

lifting chairs, climbing ladders, cutting sound panels at the church.

The sound is so much better now.
I was in quite a bit of pain, but I was able to do what I needed to get done.

The doctor is concerned that MS is causing me to aspirate the thin liquid.

I am left with some lung damage, but they said that I was very sick and was lucky to be alive!!
If I can avoid starch, wheat and milk products my stomach shrinks down and I am not as stiff!!

I love you all

Hi Team! roll

This time of year always tricks me into thinking I can do more outside than I can... but it's so fun! Dizzy and weak from effects, but that'll go away.

Still swimming e/o day and gardening a bit. Walking around the neighborhood in the evenings with my hubby.

I have to update my account here somehow so I can post some photos. Anyone know how to do that?

Hope you're all happy and living the good life. cheerleader

Goooooooo TEAM! clap

When I was fitter I used to do the same sort of thing as you do now. The only thing I would add is some physiotherapy exercises. Set yourself a 30 minutes exercise program every day.

If you have no experience of physiotherapy then perhaps get to be seen by a physio. Pay if you have too but the one session should be enough for your needs. Learn the exercises she shows you and remember the once that she thinks suit you best. Then find a time of the day that is best for you to do the program. In my case it has always been an empty bedroom with the radio on early in the morning.

Once you find the right prog. of exercises and the place to do them choose a time of the day that you can stick with it. This is a long term thing so get it right and then it will just become an ordinary part of your day just as natural as say brushing your teeth. Keep up your swimming as it is the best all round exercise you can do.

Re. your remission, make the most of it as you are right it may or may not last forever, probably not. I have had various remissions over the years. Mostly they lasted a few months but I did once go for 20 years with virtually no A.S. symptoms. It come eventually to an end and now I am worse than I ever was.
