I had medical tests recently. Which showed high tsh t3 t4 normal. High spot sgot. I am on no/low starch diet for 4 months. 3 months before everything was normal.have been cooking with olive or coconut oil. Recently started oregano oil and coconut oil before meals. Unable to figure out whats wrong. Did Anybody experience the same or any suggestions are welcome.
Thank you

It may be your diet.

Depending on what your TSH was before, a dramatic increase in coconut oil could raise your TSH to an unacceptable level. (Increased coconut oil is a good thing for the thyroid if your Thyroid Stimulating Hormone is low - but not if your TSH was already normal to high normal.) Other foods on the NSD can also have negative effects on the thyroid. This includes cruciferous vegetables (cabbage, broccoli, kale, many greens, etc), Tofu, other soy products, coffee, alcohol, and flax.
