Summary of Thrad:

Someone asked about a bed. I said I have a shed. Dow took the shed round the world. Thus the bed thread was dead.....

I have no Pounds on me, can I send you some Argentine Pesos (ARS)?

If I sent you $5 ARS, that would be equivalent to $.38 Pounds more or less.

I can give you a "Hip, hip, hooray" as well.

Maybe she incorrectly put the "s" at the end of the word and meant she sleeps "on a bed of snail".

We have some giant snails here. Much softer IMO.

They say ... care should be taken not to maintain this position continuously. If you have knee problems, check with your doctor before using a pillow under your knees, even for a short period, as it can cause knee contractures.

When I read this, I stopped the pillow under my knees because my RA has affected my knees.

Contractures are a problem of immobility. For anyone who is still ambulatory, the pillow thing isn't a problem for sleeping.

I have a temperpedic adjustable bed and have had it for years. You have to get the expensive one now if you want it to be firm enough. Back in 2005 when I bought my first one, they were solid temperpedic, now the cheaper ones have it in layers and they don't seem to work as well. But the best thing is the adjustable as I can accommodate whatever pain is highest and then switch if I need to do so.

And his choice of where to place a mattress, as in photo above, is not healthy for people with AS though it may be more comfy than the prison bed! Now let's be serious about beds and get this thread back on topic! Beds...yes they are important.................

Well is odd you should say that because I have just acquired a new shed and 5hought to facilitate my twitching activity at night by putting a bed in the shed. The shed was grossly brown which rather unnerved the twitchers close at hand so I have painted it a nice shade off....................
