Wow, about 10 days ago, I started this huge flair up. felt like a hot poker sticking in my neck. pain is way off the charts. never had this before. even touching my hair hurts. I've used all the drugs and none are working. oh boy.
hope none of you are going through this. it seems to be connected with the weather some how.

My neck has been that bad in the past. Doing better now.

A few times it was so flared that my head muscles (occipital, etc) were in spasm and I couldn't even lay on a soft feather pillow. A physiatrist did a trigger point shot in a muscle in my head once, enabled me to lay on a pillow to sleep.

I have lots of advice, information to give regarding the neck if you want it; just ask.

My neck and wrists were where it all started for me. My SI didn't start 2 years later.

Hope you are doing better... I had similar night last evening, big flare brought on by stress from work.

Today a bit better fortunately.

I'd be interested in your advice on AS-related neck pain!

My neck is where all my fusing began and I've been trying to keep it as mobile as possible since first discovering it. Flare ups can be unbearable, though.
