An extract from an article in todays Guardian, about the World Health Organisation's warning regarding the increasing resistance of bacteria to antibiotics. Not sure if John still recommends his antibiotic protocol.

In the UK, as elsewhere, there is increasing concern about infections from Klebsiella pneumoniae, bacterium carried in the intestines which has become resistant to the last line of antibiotics available, the carbapanems.

Hey, bilko:

Yes, even more so but enhanced by strictest NSD and colloidal silver (in heaping portions).

I fully believe that everyone with AS can benefit from the right antibiotics at the right time, despite non-silly WHO warnings that I take quite seriously: Klebsiella pneumoniae can rapidly select-out resistive strains and this germ must be dealt with using strictest measures of care; when we decide to go after it--totally NUKE the [*bleep*]!

Hope the Serpentine is treating You well as always,
John

could one try colloidal silver then, say after a short fast and in conjunction with NSD ? How much colloidal silver and for how long if not using antibiotics ? Any use to try oil of oregano too and is there any info on using colostrum with probiotics after ??
sorry to jump in with all the questions -:)

Hi, Oncearunner:

I am not against trying colloidal silver in conjunction with NSD; it could help. But I like more of a kick--if the bacterium is weakened through fasting and start of NSD, then that is the perfect time to move in for the kill. But I understand about the reluctance to use antibiotics.

I believe I have had good results with Tanalbit, also, and highly recommend oregano oil in every form--enteric coated and oil mixed with water or better--colloidal minerals (I take my cup o' gall all at once full strength).

Sorry, I don't know about information on probiotics with colostrum, but do believe they can both play some role in rebuilding the mucosa after it has been stripped away by using anti-bacterial measures.

Questions keep us on our toes which is a good gout-indicator!

HEALTH,
John
