If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I think my food tolerances may have improved a bit after taking complex probiotic (more than 10 strains). Don't use a probiotic that contains any FOS or Inulin - the refined powdered forms of these are particularly nasty.
Alinus unfortunately reacted quite badly to probiotics if I recall. Perhaps that had added FOS or Inulin powder?

Brian, very helpful! I think the rice will keep me happier long term. Do you suggest once or twice a week, or how often? From my research on the starch content of rice versus potatoes, I determined rice was better suited for me versus potatoes initially. I remember having a decent amount of rice right from the start & feeling the effects right after I got up from a mid-day nap after taking it. So if you want to really know if it works, try it that way. If you feel that you want to take a 'safer' approach, try adding a few tablespoons of rice a few times per week and then add it up from there. The key here is to get organic brown rice or Asian sticky rice as it contains amylopectin starch while being organic & gluten-free.

I think that's what you're saying (hope so) but I'm not sure. Since starting nsd, strict except for the rice, constipation is a problem. I've read we're supposed to eat loads of oil and I think I'm just not balancing things correctly.

The good bacteria will out compete the bad bacteria. Right now the bad bacteria are probably out competing the good bacteria. Its not a matter of how many, but which ones…quality over quantity.

Had some commercially made gluten free muffins on the weekend and I think they contained a bit of psyllium to help bind, soften and moisten the texture. They were really nice, but geez it was a potent laxative for me. So yeh fibre fibre fibre. I think it may have given me some very mild eczema though.. but that will be an individual type reaction. Another guy I know was using kefir as a laxative.. when he drank it, it would make him go. But eventually his body got used to it.
