If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

The comment my Dr.said was meant for me to not get chilled,as the cold weather can make the AS flare. I have been having a lot of hand pain to the point that I was having problems opening doors. I notice my hands do feel better if I wear gloves, especially when I go outside. I do use ice packs on my shoulders and SI. I have a heated mattress pad that I would use to warm up the bed before I go to bed, it feels so much better then cold sheets. I also like to turn on the heat for an hour before I get up, this helps so much with the morning pain and stiffness. I also like to use a warming throw in the evening while I read in my recliner.
Soaking feet in one of the vibrating foot warming/soaking tubs helps a lot for sore, aching feet.

Hi Pea,
My feet ache most of the time and then the more severe pain at times with plantar fascitis.
I freeze a bottle of water and roll it back and forth with my feet. I also use my pargaffin bath at times. I have also just sat with my bare feet or stocking feet on a warm heating pad.
It seems to eventually get better except for my ankles and the RA.
I am so glad they weren't hurting you during your trip.
Hope you feel better soon.

Hot baths, lots of socks, orthotics - help a bit - yes, I am dealing with this as well - not sure what the foot doctor is going to say that will help stop the pain.

Nothing is helping except Percocet. Possi, right at the end of the trip my feet started hurting. I have tried everything suggested. It's not my Plantar Faciitis. The whole foot hurts like there is no padding. I cooked everything today for tomorrows feast and I used my walker to get around and sit on and do a lot of the preparing but about noontime, my feet were screaming.

Sorry your feet hurt so badly. For the last few years, wouldn't not have survived trips (conferences in cities with lots of walking around) without methylprednisone. I wondered, how in the world do people in cities survive with all this walking! Then realized, I used to be able to do it. Hmm? Maybe there really is something wrong with me! No, you think! LOL. Next time I go somewhere, will be the first time on the Humira. Will be interesting to see how much the Humira helps be able to walk while away. Yeh, when its bad, its not just the PF, its the whole foot. For me that usually means the heels, side of the left foot, top of the right foot, balls of the feet, etc. The podiatrist explained to me that when the PF is inflamed, the other tendons / ligaments can get strained due to trying to overcompensate. I've "pulled" the tendon/ligament that goes over the top of the foot, more than once. Can not walk at all when that happens. 2-3 days off feet completely, icing continually, was the only thing that calmed it down enough to even be able to walk again. Weeks to months to really calm them down…..in the past Hope your feet feel better. Happy Thanksgiving

Thank's Sue,
I stayed in bed all day today to see if that would give me any relief.

Pea, it sounds so much like RA. It feels like I no longer have any padding on my feet. (That's the only place with no padding) I have orthotics but I got some from the New Balance store that are for diabetics that are basically memory foam. They help some. I hope you get some relief soon. I stayed in bed most of the day today myself. My back and knees were not happy about Thanksgiving. The rest of me was though. Feel better.
