Hello everyone,
My daughter Amanda is only 19 and I have spent quite a few hours in Emerg with her lately. Perianal Abcess, some other kind of abcess and weird smelly rash and major blood loss from her butt:(

She got in to see a GI specialist, the day after my last surgery, which was August 22, so wanted to go with her but I was in Hospital. He thinks all of this is connected and is sending her for a colonoscopy to rule out colon cancer as both my mom and Steves mom died from this frown He also says sounds like Chrons. I don't think a young girl of her age needs this worry and neither do I.

I am worried about my girl.....she is such a good responsible hard worker.......makes me sad. Keep her in your thoughts if you can smile

Sherri, I am so sorry. I definitely will. When does she have her colonoscopy? Be sure and keep up informed.

How are you doing?

Hugs for you and your family.

Gosh Sherri,

Very sorry to read this... makes me sad as well having my a son myself. Rather battle everything myself than to have to see a child battle it.

Lots of well wishes and prayers to you and daughter all turns out well.

Hang in there.

Tim

Sherri,

I hope the doctors can figure it out soon for her. I know it's hard not to worry about our kids but we do. Do what you can for her and take care of yourself too. Keep in touch.

I will keep her in my Prayers. It breaks my heart to see kids struggling in life, this world is tough enough without serious health problems.

Thanks Joyce,
I believe the Colonoscopy is Nov 13 and just now she text me and said she has an MRI on Dec 10.

I am ok......my intestines, bladder and bowels are very sore and I am still fighting with the horrible gas pains. I have had enough already. I get better everyday it seems so its all good.

Thank you Lon,
Amanda and I have been talking about making a drastic change in our diets. Probably more drastic for her than me but it will cut out a lot of starch and I hope it helps her.
