Thank you all for sharing this blessing with us. I come here when things are not so good and when things are wonderful and I get the same loving responses. You are quite a family.
He is darling of course. I just had to laugh when they pulled his cap off. He has a head full of blond curls. He is a chubby little guy with the sweetest chubby cheeks.
I am not planning to go out and see them again today. That little jaunt and the excitement gave a rather painful afternoon and evening. It was so worth it but now I have lot of time to soak him in and when they go home, they will be much closer to us.
I hope you each have a good day. Smed I know the excitement in your family. I wish you well.

Greg we are in Edmond. We have had a window open the past two nights and the quilt has felt really good. It is wonderful weather and the amazing thing is the 7 day forecast shows more of the same. Quite different from the past two years. I do wish you would get more rain. We are now officially out of the drought here in the Central part of the state.

Wishing momma and babe a safe trip through labour and delivery, Smed. You can never rest easy until it's all done & dusted....or maybe that's just me cos I used to work in the NICU??? Babies need grandaddies with their big strong arms to hold them and deep voices to sing to them - we often used to find that unsettled babies did best in their GD's embrace.

We won't believe you until you can show us photographic evidence of how bonny he is!  That's great to hear that your grandaughter and her new little family will soon be close by for lots of cuddles!  Just remember to load up on the painkillers before you go on any more visiting jaunts. Whilst the endorphin rush of seeing him is helpful, there's nothing like opiates for a longer lasting effect...
