Hello Possi,

Good to see you checking in. We all wish we could go back and be 25, so do not be so hard on yourself. Take one day at a time and you will get there with the rehab.

Hang in there,

Tim

Thanks Tim.

All of a sudden I have been feeling like I am turning the corner. I am still having some pain which I expect but I am feeling much better.

I have to share that the last 2 nights I have stayed in our bed all night without having to take a pain pill and move to a chair for a while. That has been going on for 3-4 years. I just could hardly believe it when I woke up in the night, checked myself out and thought "Hm-m=m I don't need a pain pill!" I have been so blessed.

I had my first outing. Hubby took me out to lunch and when we came home I slept 4 hours. Who knew eating was so exhausting. shocked )

How are you doing?
I appreciate your support

Hi Joyce,

I'm really glad that you have made it through the worst part of all this. It's so encouraging to hear that you are on the mend already. Good times and flower gardens ahead! Love ya, take care...

Thank you all for your encouragement through the decision making and following through with the surgery.

Once, more I overdid it yesterday. I suppose you "could" say I am a slow learner but I prefer a "striver". :o) I walked about a mile yesterday and yes, that was too much. I paid for it last night and this morning.

I get my staples out tomorrow a.m. and get X-rays so we can see what is going on. That will be good.

I won't be walking outside today. It is right at 100 now heading toward 103 supposedly.

I have to share that the redness in my lower leg is gone since surgery. Yes, circulation is back! My feet don't hurt!! I still have pain but it is still surgery pain. I don't know about my knee pain. It is new since surgery and I think it is nerve pain because I am having that from my back and down my leg.

I am so straight that every one of my family and friends that see me are as thrilled as I am.

I feel so blessed.

Thank you all.

Possi I can't remember exactly what you had done, I'm on here so little so probably missed it, but so glad you are healing well and having relief. Was it a pain pump? anyway, hope it continues to go well. Take it easy!!
